As Ohio considers nuclear subsidies, U.S. Supreme Court declines hearing challenges to Illinois, New York programs
Supporters of Ohio lawmakers’ latest attempt to subsidize the state’s two nuclear plants under threat of closure received a potential piece of good news from the U.S. Supreme Court. The court on April 15 denied hearing a petition to challenge subsidy programs for nuclear energy plants in Illinois and New York.
