Community Leaders Forming Coalition to Keep Dresden Nuclear Station Open & Viable For The Future
Our sister station WCSJ reports that Grundy County and Exelon officials are working together to keep Dresden Nuclear Station open in the future. The plant, near Morris, serves the northern portion of the state. Nancy Norton with the Grundy Economic Development Council provided an update on the Dresden situation after concerns stated last year that the plant could be in discussion for closure.
