Gillibrand files nuclear bill amendment to prevent nuclear license transfer during pending adjudication – Mid Hudson News
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, member of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, filed an amendment to the American Nuclear Infrastructure Act of 2020 on Friday that would prevent the Nuclear Regulatory Commission from approving a license transfer for a commercial nuclear power reactor if there is an adjudication pending on the license transfer proceeding.
