WASHINGTON – U.S. Sen. Angus King criticized of how closure of the now-defunct Maine Yankee nuclear power plant in Wiscasset has been handled by the federal government Tuesday during a hearing of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee. The hearing was held on the proposed Nuclear Energy Leadership Act.
