Shorter decommissioning for Oyster Creek nuclear plant looks on track
Last summer, Exelon Generation surprised Lacey Township residents with an announcement of a plan to decommission the Oyster Creek nuclear plant in perhaps half the time expected. That might allow redevelopment of the 779-acre property in the 2030s instead of the 2080s, a big benefit.
