Warren urges NRC to delay transfer of Pilgrim license
BOSTON (AP) – U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren is calling on federal regulators to hold off on transferring the license of the now-shuttered Pilgrim nuclear power plant to a private company for decommissioning. The Massachusetts Democrat said in a statement Thursday that “important questions” need to be answered before allowing Entergy’s sale of the plant to Holtec International to go forward.
