Wayne County Supervisors to ask state for continued operation of Ginna Nuclear plant

The Wayne County Board of Supervisors plans to ask the state to allow the Ginna Nuclear Power Plant to remain open beyond its scheduled closure in 2029. The Finger Lakes Times reports the board is set to ask the state to include the plant and three nuclear plants in Scriba in New York’s carbon-free energy plan.
