Background
The Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station consists of two boiling water reactors. Construction began on Units 2 & 3 in 1968 with licensed operations commencing in 1974.
In 2003, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission granted Peach Bottom a twenty-year license renewal for both units 2 & 3. Their licensed operational life extends to 2033 and 2034 respectively.
